The range of ideas is truly astonishing. Today’s smart phones come with a range of usage agreements to help you save money, from a prepaid cell phone to a long range contract.  Now, the innovation in phone apps helps us get better at running our small business in these recession plagued times?

A review of some of the best business apps for cell phones turns up some great tools for small business. The app makers have really put their thinking caps on to come up with some great tools for taking care of important business needs, serving business owners with too much to do and too little face time and office time. Here are three of the best:

Goodreader. This phone app enables smart phones to work with PDF files, so you’re not stuck using the laptop to access files when you’re on the go.  With this app you can edit pdf files from your phone; something many phones are currently unable to do.

Linkedin. The Linkedin social networking site now offers its own app to connect business people.

Evernote. This app is an awesome version of the note taking software that enables business people to stay current on their notes, taking them over the phone by text or by voice.
